The Barton Challenge

Since 2003, Everybody Wins! Vermont has run a program at the Barton Graded School. Located in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom and with a population of 742, the village of Barton is the most rural community that we serve. We have dedicated and amazing mentors there, but we have struggled over the years to recruit more mentors and to raise funds for this important program.

Thanks to an amazing opportunity from the Wisdom Connection, we raised $5,000 to help sustain and grow the Barton program and they matched it! The Wisdom Connection is wonderful foundation committed to the success and well-being of the Northeast Kingdom’s children. We are grateful to them for this opportunity and also very grateful to the supporters below who helped us to meet this challenge! This challenge has helped us to raise awarness and funds so that we can continue to provide more children in the Northeast Kingdom with caring reading mentors.
