Author: Natalie Babbitt
Summary of the plot: This book is about a girl who discovers a spring in the woods, a family named "The Tucks" bring her back to their house and explain to her the enchantment of the spring. But there was someone listening?.
What we liked about this book: We liked the magical spring and how the girl ends up caring about the Tucks in the end. It is a great book and that lets your imagination work.

Title: Stranger in Dadland
Author: Amy Goldman Koss
Summary of the plot:
This book is about a boy who goes to visit his dad in the summer, due to divorce. This boy expects his dad to be different then in years past. After spending sometime, he realizes it is based on events that happen in the book.
What we liked about this book: We liked how it took place in California. The big pool at his dad's house and the great friend he makes named Beau.

Author: Paula Danziger
Summary of the plot: Amber wanted to get her ears pierced. Her mom wanted her to wait until she was 12. She went to get her ears pierced with her Dad and never told him about waiting until she was 12.
What we liked about this book: It was interesting and we learned a lesson. The lesson was be honest and obey your parents.

Summary of the plot: A mouse living in Emily's room. They wrote papers back and forth to each other. That is how they communicated.
What we liked about this book: Ewe liked the pictures, some of the character and the plot. Not too hard to too easy.

Summary of the plot: It was about a boy named Keith at the football championship he dropped a pass for a touchdown. He had a nightmare for a long time.
What we liked about this book: Keith Showed a lot of courage because when he dropped a pass he gave up football then he came back.

What we liked about this book: We liked the part where the found the underground room and about the people who live there.

Title: The Girl Who Loved Wild Horses
Author: Paul Gable
Summary of the plot: The book was about an Indian Girl and her wild horse. And how she was able to live and run with the horses.
What we liked about this book: It was very colorful and also had a very happy ending for the little Indian girl. We also enjoyed the way the stallion came and show the other horses and the little girl the way to the tribe.

Summary of the plot: Family in Afghanistan, divided by war and one of the children has to pretend she is a boy in order to work and feed her family.
What we liked about this book: It teaches us to be happy with what we have. It shows us what it is like in another country and culture.

Summary of the plot: A mouse named Emmaline lived in the bedroom of Emily Dickinson. They wrote poems back and forth to each other. In the middle of the story a cat tried to eat the mouse.
What we liked about this book: We liked this book because we like poems and mice. You should read this book because it is a great story about a nice relationship.

Summary of the plot: This story is about a lucky boy that get all of his skills for basketball from his Dad and Mom.
What we liked about this book: He plays basketball just like I do. How he practiced. He worked hard.

Author: Sarah Weeks
Summary of the plot: Guy Wine's Mom is getting married to his worst enemy's dad. They put their heads together and come up with a plan to ruin their marriage. They end up married and Guy and Lana find a way to get along.
What we liked about this book: Has lots of action. Many outrageous and funny things happen. Neyna liked this book Okay. Sheridan wasn't that crazy about this book.
